The Veterans Writing Workshop creates dialogue between veterans and civilians through the medium of the written word.
Through public readings and events, the Veterans Writing Workshop provides veteran writers with the opportunity to share their work with the community while offering civilians an important new perspective on the veterans’ experience.

Veterans go away from home and spend four years in the military––there's a whole way that changes people. Hopefully as people listen to us read about it they'll understand a little more. The stories were wonderful and touching. I understand how therapeutic writing can be; these men have learned that and they expressed themselves magnificently. |
